What Is Thermal Break Window?

Insulation within a window is named a “thermal break”. The thermal break is a insulation strip between the inside and outside window frames that prevent conductive energy loss. The insulation stripe bonds the interior and exterior aluminum frames of the window sash. It creates thermal energy loss resistance and combined with gas-filled double or triple glazed, keeps the interior space of your window at a more comfortable temperature.

Benefit of thermal break profile:

●  Greater Heat Retention

●  Greater Protection Against Water Penetration

●  Greater Air tightness,  Wind pressure resistance,Durability and Energy Saving.

Aluguard 's window&door design has learn from the leading European window&door system company,Adopt their advanced aluminum alloy doors and Windows design and technical indicators. European system aluminum windows also feature something named a “warm edge”. A warm-edge is a barrier between the glass unit or panel of glass. Our windows have a high-performance spacer, which serves multiple functions:

 ●   It provides a gas-tight seal that prevents the loss of Argon or Krypton gas (which also has insulation value) in the unit.

 ●   It provides a moisture barrier that prevents water that would fog the unit called desiccants.

 ●   It provides an insulation stripe reducing the formation of interior condensation near the edge. The warm edge spacer allows for greater performance and increased energy efficient, which is crucial during cold winter and summer months. The wider the thermal break ,the better the window will insulate.

In cold climates the thermal break keeps heat indoors and cold outdoors. An environment with a more energy efficient climate is much more comfortable and pleasant. Thermal beak windows help to stop noise pollution, condensation, and frost. As a result, dampness and mould are also eliminated.
